FLAX KITCHEN TIPS

  • Sprinkle dry-roasted Whole Flaxseeds over your next salad or stir-fry for a nutty taste sensation.
  • Grind Whole Flaxseeds as you require them and store in a closed, opaque container in the fridge.
  • Flaxseed Meal can be substituted for eggs in recipes that will allow a slightly chewier result. For 1 egg, simply combine 1 tbsp Flaxseed Meal with 3tbsp water and let the mixture stand for a couple of minutes.
  • Flaxseed Oil can be drizzled over cooked foods (eg pasta, rice, vegetables) immediately after serving. Do not cook with Flaxseed Oil.
  • Use Flaxseed Meal to thicken sauces, casseroles and soups.
