Berry and Flax Smoothie recipe

Our Berry and Flax smoothie is delicious and packed with antioxidants from the berries, potassium from the banana, omega-3 fatty acids from the flaxseeds, and protein from the Greek yoghurt. It's a healthy and refreshing way to start your day.


  • 1 cup mixed berries (EG: strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds or flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional)


  1. Prepare the ingredients: Wash the berries and remove the stems. Peel the ripe banana and break it into smaller chunks.
  2. Blend the ingredients: Combine the mixed berries, banana chunks, ground flaxseeds, Greek yoghurt, almond milk, and honey in a blender. If you prefer a colder and thicker smoothie, you can add a handful of ice cubes.
  3. Blend until smooth: Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more almond milk in small increments until it reaches your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust: Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or sweetener if needed.
  5. Serve immediately: Pour the Berry & Flax Smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. You can garnish with a few whole berries for an extra touch.
