Yummy Milkshake

Blueberries are a great source of essential vitamins and minerals, and have powerful antioxidant properties. Fresh fruit, healing herbs and flaxseed oil combine to make this milkshake a convenient and replenishing superfood.


  • 2 cups milk (skim, low fat, soy or rice)
  • 1 tbsp quark or natural yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Stoney Creek Organic Flaxseed Oil
  • fresh fruit such as bananas, strawberries, blueberries,
  • raspberries, apricots
  • herbs such as mint or lemon thyme
  • honey if desired


Use crushed ice or frozen berries to add chill, cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish and flavour. Recipe image includes one banana, handful frozen blueberries and fresh mint. Blend together in a processor until smooth and frothy.
