Flaxseed Pudding Recipe

Our flaxseed pudding is not only easy to make but also packed with omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, Lignans and plant-based protein.

Those ingredients make it a healthy addition to your diet. You can enjoy it as breakfast, snack, or a dessert.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed
  • ½ cup plant-based milk (such as almond, soy, or oat milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients in a bowl. Whisk together the ground flaxseed, plant-based milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and salt until well combined.
  2. Let the mixture rest: Cover the mixture and let it sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for a thicker consistency. The flaxseed will absorb the liquid and create a pudding-like texture.
  3. After resting, stir the pudding to check the consistency. If it’s too thick, you can add a little more plant-based milk to reach your desired texture.
  4. You can top with your favourite fruits, nuts, or seeds. Some great options include fresh berries, banana slices, chopped nuts, or a drizzle of additional maple syrup.
  5. Serve the flaxseed pudding chilled as a nutritious breakfast, snack, or dessert!

Feel free to customise the pudding by adding cocoa powder for a chocolate version, or spices like cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavour.
