Adding ground flaxseed meal offers a variety of health benefits due to its rich nutritional profile.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or dried fruit (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls.
  • Add coconut flakes if you like.
  • Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
