It is with much sadness and regret that we have to announce that we have come to the end of our Golden Organic Flaxseed oil for this season. Whether climate change, changing climate or simply drought is to blame, the result is the same.
We have been working with our Organic growers and other seed suppliers to try and secure more seed during the 19/20 growing season, but unfortunately the crops were complete failures.
We continue supporting existing growers and fostering new growers and we are desperately trying to bulk up a new variety of seed more tolerant to the changed seasonal conditions, but new season Organic Gold Oil is at least 6 months away.
We do have stock of our Brown Organic Flaxseed oil. This is still the high quality that we all are accustomed to with the only difference being the taste.
It saddens us to be announcing that we have come to the end of our Australian Organic Brown Flaxseed. We have exhausted the Australian Seed market and have had to look outside Australia for a temporary solution to fulfill our commitments. The seed that we have purchased is of highest quality and not from China or India. It is Certified Organic and we have conducted full testing here in Australia before we purchased it, to guarantee safety and quality. It is some of the best seed that we have seen and processed here at Stoney Creek, comparing favourably with the best Australian grown.

More infoWhiz nuts and seeds in a food processor until like bread crumbs. Add dried fruits and whiz until smooth. Add other ingredients, saving coconut for coating. Make sure you have a sturdy food processor - or you can finish mixing by hand (the mixture can become quite hard and sticky). Roll into 2-3cm balls and roll in coconut. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Quark Mayo
